Burger King Supports KMHS with "Give From the Heart" Campaign
May 11, 2007

During May, Mental Health Month, Burger King restaurants in Kitsap County are conducting their annual “Give From the Heart” campaign in support of Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS). This is the 8th year that staff at Burger Kings ask patrons to donate a dollar to support the programs and services KMHS provides to those suffering the effects of mental illnesses.

“This is an opportunity for our company to support a great organization that provides critical mental health services to our community,” says Jeff Rose, Director of Operations for Sound City Foods, owner of local Burger King restaurants. Most of the managers have been involved in the campaign since its inception and Burger King restaurants in Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton and Port Orchard have raised nearly $60,000 for KMHS.
