Carolyn Powers was elected to the KMHS Board in 1985. She served two terms as Board President, 1987-88 and 1993-94. She was one of the Founding Members of the KMHS Foundation Board of Directors and chaired the Foundation’s first annual campaign. Carolyn was honored as a lifetime member of the KMHS Foundation. She received her Associate of Arts Degree from Olympic College and retired from a career as an Administrative Secretary with the South Kitsap School District. Carolyn is currently a Port Orchard City Council Woman and a former State Representative. She is a Charter Member and Past President of the Olympic College Foundation Board of Directors. Carolyn previously served on the Olympic College Board of Trustees for 13 years, completing a two-year term as the State President of the Association of Community College Trustees.
