General Eligibility Description

All referrals and inquiries are handled through our centralized Access Center at Kitsap Mental Health Services, which can be reached by calling 360-405-4010. When you call to access services you will speak to an individual who will help you determine whether you meet the criteria needed to receive an appointment for an intake.

You will be asked questions such as:
What is the nature of your mental health concern?
What kind of services are you seeking?
Did anyone refer you to our services?
Do you have Medicaid?
Do you have any funding/insurance?
Are you feeling suicidal?
Have you been violent towards anyone?

These questions will help us to determine your initial eligibility for services. If you do not meet the initial criteria for services, our staff will graciously give you information and referrals for someone who may be able to be of further assistance.
