KMHS Elects New Board Members

Kitsap Mental Health Services is pleased to announce the recent election of three new board members at the organization’s March 2009 Board of Director’s meeting. Joining the KMHS Board of Directors are Cynthia Galloway, Patty Lent, and Dianne Robinson.

Currently President of the Bremerton School Board and a member since 2003, Cynthia Galloway is also a Guidance Counselor at Bremerton’s Washington Youth Academy. Ms. Galloway holds a Master of Arts degree from City University. Her special interests are helping students who are struggling with academics and helping individuals with mental illness.

In addition to serving on the American Marine Bank Board of Directors, Patty Lent is active in many community organizations including The Zumwalt Guild of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Bremerton Central Lions, Kitsap Community Foundation, Kitsap Cares About Kids, Navy League and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Alpha Program.

Dianne Robinson is Bremerton City Councilwoman for District #6 and has been on the Council since 2004. Dianne is active in many civic organizations including the NAACP, Kitsap County Coordinating Board, Monthly Block Watch Neighborhood Program and the Kitsap County Board of Health. She is also involved in exhibits featuring African American History and is committed to working with and supporting people for the betterment of the community. Dianne earned her Associate in Technical Arts degree at Olympic College.
