KMHS Leads State with Lowest Error Rate
April 23, 2007

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) leads the state with the fewest errors for data entry among community mental health providers. Of 181,000 data entry errors statewide since July 2005, KMHS has an error rate of .09%, and, for the current period, KMHS had only 2 unresolved errors among 29,000 errors for a remarkably low rate of .01%.

KMHS contracts with the Peninsula Regional Support Network (PRSN) to provide computer support for the PRSN’s entire service area. Located in Kitsap County, the PRSN oversees delivery of mental health services by providers in Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap Counties.

“This is a real team effort.” says Tracy Thompson, Director of Information Services at KMHS. “All those who enter data for our provider network deserve kudos as they contributed to this achievement.”
