Joe brings 25 years CEO experience across 3 states. Beginning his early years as an inpatient psychiatric aide, he went on to secure his BA in Psychology and MA in Sociology/Community Development. After twelve years at KMHS, Joe continues to serve because as he says “This work is important to me because KMHS saves lives, every day.”

An MSW, LICSW with more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health as a clinician and as an administrator, Megan is motivated everyday by the belief that “everyone deserves a path and the help they need to reach their potential.”

Monica holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a MS Finance, brings extensive public and private experience to her role, and has served in leadership positions for several Kitsap area non-profit organizations. Monica believes basic human needs such as healthcare and housing, especially for vulnerable persons, are necessary to a thriving community. She also spearheads KMHS’ construction of the 72 unit Pendleton Place apartment complex due to open Fall 2021.

He believes in patient rights, their access to quality care, accurate records, and maintaining patient privacy in an increasingly technological world. With a Masters in Social Work and 13 years of experience as KMHS’ Adult Outpatient Services Clinical Director, Kathryn’s work is important to her because helping others is among one of her strongest personal values. Beth holds a Master’s in Social Work and brings over 25 years of experience in Behavioral Health, having worked through time in both clinical and administrative capacities. Beth notes “I want to make a difference in the lives of the clients and families we serve, believing our clients are resilient and can recover. I especially want to help clients meet their goals and accomplish their dreams.”

“I have a deep belief that all people hold value and deserve dignity, respect, and that they should be able to access mental health services that meet their need.” An MSW with 11 years of experience and a Senior Level Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor, Neil has worked with people across the lifespan, providing services in jails, housing, outpatient treatment environments and in the crisis services arena, including field crisis response, residential crisis care and inpatient treatment settings.
Dr. Fredi Prochoda
Dr. Fredi Prochoda (Dr. Fredi) oversees our staff of medical providers, and is delighted to make Washington her new home. Dr Fredi has recently joined our KMHS Team and brings a wealth of experience including having been a psychiatric provider for the Colorado Department of Corrections, the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, and President and CEO at Advanced Psychiatric Health. She has most recently served as Director of the Medical Staff for Arizona’s Children Association where she had oversight of medical operations for 12 clinics across Arizona. Dr. Fredi is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), graduating with honors from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Nursing.
