Hughes oversees the effective\, high-quality medical and psychiatric care delivered by KMHS inpatient services\, outpatient services\, crisis teams\, and child and family professionals. With more than 20 years experience as a psychiatrist in inpatient\, outpatient and community mental health settings\, he is most proud of his long history of early adoption of cutting-edge therapeutic practices in the treatment of mental health conditions. Dr. Hughes was instrumental in opening the Neil S. Hirsch TMS Clinic at KMHS’ Almira Campus in May 2024. The clinic provides a simple\, effective treatment that can be life changing for people with treatment-resistant depression. \nChristina Hughes\, MD \nDr. Christina Hughes is the Medical Director for the Kitsap and Tacoma division of Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center (SeattleNTC-Kitsap and SeattleNTC-Tacoma). Dr. Hughes specializes in neuro-rehabilitation as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician\, with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis.
