KMHS offers a full range of outpatient mental health services for adults, as well as inpatient, residential and substance use recovery treatment tailored to each person’s needs.

To support Kitsap County residents living with severe mental illness, we offer Salamander Clubhouse. The free program is a safe space where members can build skills and community.

Life-Changing Depression Treatment

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS is a simple, effective treatment that can be life changing for people living with treatment-resistant depression.

TMS uses a series of brief, focused magnetic pulses to stimulate brain cells and improve depression symptoms.

  • It’s about six times as effective as antidepressants in people who have tried multiple medications without success.
  • More than 60 percent of people see improvements in their symptoms after about 36 daily treatments. That’s true even if depression has affected them for years.
