Pendleton Place
Pendleton Place is a permanent, supportive apartment complex for Kitsap County adults who have experienced chronic homelessness and are living with mental illness, substance use disorders and serious health conditions.
It offers stability and life-changing access to behavioral health treatment and primary healthcare through a partnership of Kitsap Mental Health Services, Bremerton Housing Authority and Peninsula Community Health Services.
Eligibility
Tenant selection criteria include:
- Length of an applicant’s experience with homelessness
- Seriousness of the person’s mental illness, substance use disorder and/or other disabling conditions.
How to Access Services
- Apply through the Housing Solutions Center at kcr.org/housing
- Housing Solutions Center screens prospective tenants
- Kitsap Mental Health Services contacts applicants who have met screening criteria to discuss possible tenancy
- Bremerton Housing Authority conducts income and background checks
What to Expect
- Tenants sign a lease agreement and must abide by its terms as well as a Code of Conduct and Visitor Policy
- Tenants pay no more than 30 percent of their income on rent
- All units are furnished – there are 36 studio apartments and 36 one-bedrooms
- Staff members help tenants learn life skills and engage with services
- On-site recovery support groups
- Laundry room on each floor
- 2 medical respite rooms
- Common areas for meals and group activities
- Outdoor gathering space
- Pets allowed
