Crisis
24/7 Support When You Need It Most
Crisis can strike anyone, any time. When it does, Kitsap Mental Health Services is here to help. Working with the Salish Regional Crisis Line, we provide immediate support anywhere in the community.
If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, call the 24/7 Salish Regional Crisis Line at 888-910-0416 or text 988.
Trained mental health professionals will answer your call and determine the type of support you need. That could include:
- Resolving the crisis by phone
- Connecting you to community resources
- Referring you to KMHS crisis services
Our Mobile Crisis Outreach teams go wherever they’re needed in the community. They connect youth and adults with services that support recovery.
Crisis Triage Center
Our 16-bed Crisis Triage Center (CTC) provides short-term stabilization services for adults who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and need immediate 24/7 support. Clients typically stay at the center for up to five days.
The CTC provides a safe and supportive environment for people who might otherwise end up in the emergency room, jail or an inpatient unit. During their stay, clients work with a team to address their needs and develop a plan to navigate the crisis. This may include connecting them to treatment for mental health, physical health and/or substance use disorders.
“All of a sudden, I felt actual hope.”
