Kitsap Mental Health Services Internship Program
Kitsap Mental Health Services offers a limited number of internships open to Master’s level students in clinical counseling or social work who are interested in working with a diverse population in an outpatient community mental health setting. Our mission is to offer Hope and Opportunity for people of all ages through comprehensive recovery-oriented behavioral health care.
As an Intern at Kitsap Mental Health Services, you will gain valuable training and experience in managing a caseload, developing and implementing treatment goals, assessment, and diagnosis, documentation and record-keeping, professional development, building your identity as a therapist, facilitating groups and more, under the supervision of one of our qualified counselors.
Internship Eligibility
Applicants must be a current graduate student, in good standing, enrolled in a clinically-focused master’s or doctoral degree program in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, clinical social work, marriage & family therapy or equivalent.
How to Apply
We are currently accepting internship applications for the following programs: Child & Family, Adult Outpatient, 24/7 Programs, Medical Services and Substance Use Disorder Services.
