From Preschoolers to Young Adults

Kitsap Mental Health Services provides a variety of compassionate, effective outpatient services for children, youth and families – including services in home, school and community settings.  These services are available throughout the year and are designed to provide structure, and a positive, predictable treatment progression for youth and their families.

We create customized outpatient treatment plans for children and their families. These plans seek to address each individual’s unique needs, strengths, weaknesses and cultural background. Our clinic and community-based outpatient services aim to support the growth of children and adolescents, and enhance their ability to succeed and flourish in school and in life.

Services may include:

  • Assessment of mental health needs
  • Family therapy
  • Individual support and therapy
  • Case management
  • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management services
  • Substance use disorder assessments and treatment

Specialized services for young children are available, or find out more about our outpatient services for children ages 6 – 12, outpatient services for youth ages 13 – 21 and our highly intensive, wraparound WISe Team services.

No appointment is necessary for your first visit!  If you are a parent hoping to enroll your child in services, your child must be present for the visit.

Contact Us for general information about our services.

Please note, to serve children with an open dependency case with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, their social worker must either be present during the first appointment, or must contact our Access Center at 360-373-5031 so arrangements to sign a consent to treat form, releases of information, and provision of the Court report regarding the dependency can be made prior to the First Appointment.
