Healthcare: COFA Islander Health Care

PIHBWA works with the Washington Healthcare Authority to assist Compact of Free Association (COFA) citizens learn about COFA Apple Health Care and register for programs.

Education: Prenatal and Postpartum Education and Care

Pacific Islander Health Board partners with Open Arms Perinatal Services for Prenatal and postpartum education, Lactation Support, and Birth Worker (Doulas) trained from the Pacific Island communities.

Healthcare: Hire a Pacific Islander Duola

PIHBWA offers a team of doulas that offer supportive and compassionate care to expectant or postpartum parents.

Education: Child Birth Classes and Lactation Care

Child Birthing Education Classes and a referral to midwifery services, doulas, or lactation(nursing) education.

Healthcare: Interpreter Services/Translation

A team of staff and members of the Island community that are fluent in their native language. Available languages Marshallese, Chuukese, Fijian, and Samoan.
