In 2010, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1418 enabling school districts to form Open Doors programs for young people ages 16–21 who have dropped out or are not on track to graduate. This isn’t school the way you remember it. We focus on: Earning your GED Building job skills and experience Supporting your life goals—on your terms You’ll get one-on-one support, real-world learning opportunities, and the chance to move forward at your own pace.
