St. Vincent De Paul's assistance office provides financial assistance and resources to families in need such as rent and utility assistance, transportation (bus tokens), hygiene items, and burial ( funeral/cremation) assistance.

Housing: Birkenfeld Stella Maris House
A Women's Shelter that offers housing, food and a safe environment to women ( and women with children). Residents are assigned a Case Manager that assists in their return to independence. Referrals to shelter are made by Housing Solutions Center.
