West Sound Technical Skills Center provides students between the ages of 16 and 21 or in grades 11 and 12 opportunities to engage in advanced career and technical education programs as part of the educational system at no cost to the student. Students learn the technical knowledge and skills to prepare them for apprenticeships, technical schools, two-and-four year colleges and universities or going to entry level employment in career interested area. WST is a ten school district educational cooperative that serves students in Bremerton, Central Kitsap, Chimacum, North Kitsap, North Mason, Peninsula, Quilcene, Bainbridge Island, South Kitsap and Port Townsend School Districts.
