West Sound Treatment Center is a nonprofit organization that serves to help people on their way to recovery. They provide substance use disorder treatment and other programs. SUD: Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs

West Sound Treatment Center's Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) offers client chemical dependency treatment in individual and group settings.

SUD: Relapse Prevention Treatment

This program client learn about coping strategies and skills to identify the warning signs of their behavior and avoid risks to their recovery journey.

Housing: Safe and Sober Housing

Safe and Sober Housing is a recovery housing program that offers clients a safe place to live, provides access to services such as case management services, vocational services, life skill building, and transportation. WSTC operates two housing programs one is Fuller House for Women and their children and the other is Lighthouse for Men and their children. Eligibility is required to enter Safe and Sober Housing.

Housing: New Start Houses for Men and Women

New Start Houses for Men and Women provides eligible men and women who are homeless and exiting the Kitsap County jail with transitional housing for up to nine months. This program provides services such as onsite case management, individual counseling, sober living and life skill building and advocacy.

SUD: New Start and Re-Entry Program

New Start is a voluntary program provides substance use disorder treatment and reentry coordination and support services on site at the Kitsap County Jail for incarcerated adults. This program provides comprehensive assessment and treatment.

Education: Alcohol and Drug Information School

WSTC provides an 8 hour course on the first Saturday of each month. This class provide valuable information about the affects of drugs and alcohol and how to make appropriate decisions regarding alcohol and substance use. Cost for class is $200. Location of classes alternate.

Other: The Recovery, Empowerment, Advocacy, Linkage (REAL) Program

The WSTC's team goes into the community to make connections with members of the community who are at risk of encounters with las enforcement and first responders. Services include brief well being screenings, referral services and needs assessments, long tern, outreach support, intensive care management, recovery coaching, recovery support services, and warm handoffs to treatment support services.
