The Keller House, our new on-campus residential/stabilization facility and services center will open its doors in Spring 2010. The new building is named in honor of Larry Keller, who retired in December 2007 after founding KMHS and serving as our Executive Director for 30 years.

The Keller House will provide 16 beds in a less restrictive setting for individuals who are in transition from Western State Hospital, the KMHS Adult Inpatient Unit or other hospital facility, or individuals living in the community who need short-term stabilization. The Keller House will also provide much needed program space, including group meeting rooms and a large training room for use by KMHS and its community partners.

The KMHS Board of Directors and staff are deeply honored at the show of community support that will fund The Keller House. Construction of the $4.3 million project moved forward quickly thanks to the contributions of local individuals; multiple city, county, and state grants; and strong state legislative support and federal allocation funds.
