Coffee Oasis's mission is to restore community through compassionate youth programs and the coffee businesses. They have a variety of youth programs such as crisis services, youth engagement, housing services, and youth development.
Coffee Oasis's Crisis intervention program is a 24 hour text line where youth/young adults ages 13-25 who are experiencing a crisis can connect with either staff or volunteers. Staff and volunteers are trained to offer support in the form of listening, providing available resources, and safety to youth. Youth in crisis can text "HELP" to the Crisis line.
Drop in Centers are open to youth and young adults ages 13-25. Drop in center offers youth a meal, access to an open shower, access to laundry, and an opportunity to participate in life skills classes. This is a chance for youth to engage with other youth.
Youth Late Nights are open to youth and young adults ages 13-25 to get a meal, play video games, and connection with other youth.
Emergency Shelter is open for eligible youth ages 16-20 that are experiencing homelessness or a crisis without a safe place to stay overnight. Youth may be referred to shelter services or come into shelter as a walk in. All incoming youth must be screened to determine eligibility and confirmation of availability. Shelter service is open 24 hours 7 days a week.
